Instagram account is not linked to a Facebook page properly
Sometimes, an Instagram user is not connected properly to it's Facebook page.
It seems to be related to the way the Instagram business account was created: it happens often for profiles that have been converted to businesses through the Instagram app. As a workaround for this - if you can:
Note: Each time you switch back to a personal account, your insights data on Instagram will be erased.
You need to switch your account back to a personal one on both the Instagram app and on the Facebook page.
- On the Instagram app: Switch Back to a Personal Account From a Business Account
- On your Facebook page:
- Settings --> Instagram
- At the bottom, Disconnect Instagram Account, click on the "Disconnect" bottom
- On your Facebook page:
- Settings --> Instagram
- Connect an Instagram account
- Fill in your details
That's it! You should now be able to link your Instagram user to our platform.
